Music is definitely one of my biggest passions. I have a love for world, ethnic, rock, classic, soul, jazz, and virtually everything in between. I have a background in music, playing the saxophone since a young age. Although I probably will not be auditioning anytime soon.
Through my travels, I have met a lot of interesting and talented people. Most everyone I speak with around the world has music that influences their lives. I am sure to question what music inspires them and what music motivates them in their daily routines. I’ve been escorted to music stores in Portugal for a full recount of popular music there. I typically return from a trip with at least a handful of new CDs.
A good friend DJs a local radio channel’s world music segment. She invited me and a good friend of mine to co-DJ the segment and now we return every other month or so. The show lasts for approximately two hours and can be heard online at WEFT.org.
